In her work Nereim strives to disrupt the conventions of meaning-formation, and explore the relationship between art, design, and the body. Generated by her interest in arrangement, and intention, Nereim examines and redefines the lives of the objects she accumulates and creates. She composes groupings, according to visual and material similarities, as minimal still-lives, where each object within the still life relates to the next. Every translation transforms in unpredictable ways, maintaining an unstable relationship to the objects’ conception.
